Britain's sheep industry is the envy of the world with British lamb & mutton being produced to some of the highest welfare standards in the world.

One of the highlights in Wharfedale’s calendar is the Buckden Gala Sheep Show which takes place on the Gala field with trophies and prizes presented at the annual Gala Dinner held later in the year.

Sheep are penned from late morning on the day of the Gala and visitors are encouraged to view the stock before judging begins. Why not become part of the fun and entertainment!
